Hydrogen fluoride (which turns into hydrofluoric acid upon contact with moisture) and carbonyl fluoride, which is very toxic, but unstable in contact with water.

BTW, R134a will be banned in Europe as of next year in newly produced cars. They decided that while it doesn't destroy ozone it has "significant global warming potential ".
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

This was hilarious.

Finally saw it and yes, it was.  Where were the scifi gals who got all hot & bothered reading scifi when I was in high school?

Favorite part:
When she slapped the gal with teh "I <3 Kurt Vonnegut" T-shirt.

Ray Bradbury is a tard.  http://gizmodo.com/5302357/ray-bradbury-to-hell-with-the-internet

Zahc: you've probably read some of these authors, but you didn't mention them so I'll list them anyway.
Vernor Vinge is excellent, not just his typically mentioned Fire upon the Deep and Deepness in the Sky, but also The Peace War and Marooned in Realtime.
Iain M. Banks' Culture novels (he's also well known for his plain fiction book The Wasp Factory)
Charles Stross
Richard Morgan
