He's better than Romney, and his madness is an asset.

Yeah, I bet Putin wouldn't sneer at him the way he likely sneers at Barry-Boy in contempt.

No one would expect Ventura to rise through the establishment ranks, but, no, rule nothing out, a lot is about to change.

I can tell you that if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, I'm through voting for anyone with an (R) or (D) behind their name.

Crazy as it may be, Ventura really just has to run on two things: reduce the size of the Federal Government and hire Bill Black to go after top level crooks. Win.

I'm sure he'll find some justice in Mexico.

He will; it's available for the right price.

I told Mrs. B. that if he does, indeed, run for president - which he's threatening - he just might pull it off. IF, that is, he made a point about reducing the width and breadth of government; specifically:

Disband the TSA, DEA, Dept of Ed, BATFE and a bunch of other departments.

Run on a platform of freedom from government.

Paging Mr. Paul, Mr. Ron Paul, to the white courtesy phone...

But that'd be just crazy, right?

Like lot of "great escapes" in the world--this one being in Baja--it is fine if you can fly into a private airport and have bodyguards and plenty of money to pass around in the local community and don't mind living in a compound.

Baja has certainly changed a lot since the '80's when I used to spend at least a weekend every month and a month or so in the summer (best fishing when it was ungawdly hot). I used to drive to Cabo and never worried about safety or security. People in the states would ask if I was worried about being robbed or killed and I would reply, "Only until I was south of the border."
Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.
I meet lots of folks like this, claim to be anarchist but really they're just liberals with pierced genitals. - gunsmith
