to change the color scheme that I'm seeing?
I've looked through my profile options and I'm not seeing anything.
The current default color scheme is not to my liking.

You can pick the one other theme we currently have loaded. There were several themes that did not survive the update but we have the option of installing more if need be.

Once I got the hang of it, login was virtually seamless today on both ancient outmoded IE 11 (yeah, yean, I know) and Brave browser
Only problem is on both the text of the posts are crowded on the right side of the screen and cant figure out how to change the margins.
And an enormous slice of gratitude for your efforts !

Don't know if this is satisfactory, but...
Legibility is not that much of a problem with various zoom levels,but there's an awful lot of real estate that isn't being used. Could be on my end, but FYI same thing happens on both old IE11 and Brave.Haven't tried the new site on Chrome=yuckpooblech.
Not your problem, but my select tool in Paint isn't working right. Seems to only snatch a small section of the image. Well, see what you can do when you get a chance.
ETA Hang in there, I'm trying to find the screen shot I took.
ETA(2) Seems to be OK on other sites like THR, but I don't think they've migrated or anything yet
ETA(3) I'm on Brave now (previous above ^ on IE11), and the same situation of excessive Real Estate on the left side material (name, # posts, etc. occurs.) . Priority 3 problem from my point of view, so don't break your back over it unless others have the same ptoblem.

Yeah, that looks like an issue caused by zoom level. The margin looks fine at regular zoom but punching in that far makes it look oversized.
If we add some better responsive themes they may work better for you.

What are you looking for?
Darker, less pastel colors with more colors.
Right now it's pretty much all Blue and Gray, which triggers my newly woke aversion to anything having to do with Civil War symbology...

Profile->Modify Profile->Look and Layout->Current Theme->Change

Click on your own name.
In the middle of the page towards the left you will see "Modify Profile" , hover over it with your curser to see the drop down menu.
Click "Look and Layout".
You will see where it says "Current Theme" with the theme selected listed to the right.
You will also see the hotlink (change)
There are four options and they are all very similar in color schemes.

You were correct about the color schemes. There is so little difference that there is no point bothering.

At least now there's contrast and my eyes aren't trying to focus on everything all at once.
It was like that old skit about paint colors years ago...
And here is your color scheme. The walls will be this color, and the trim this color.
Wait... what? They're both white?
Nonsense! The walls are Arctic Blast Ice White, and the trim is Arctic Blast Snow White! Very distinct and different colors!

Boomer theme is not at all bad.
