Seems like things are flying off the shelf.  I was online shopping for AK mags and am noticing alot of places are out of them.  Panic, impulse buying or whatever you want to call it, the gunshops are busy just about everywhere.

Talked to some friends today that said "Hoffman's" the local go to store for guns in the Hartford area was PACKED on Saturday. meh, I already got the guns I want and enough ammo to go with them to hold me for a while. Bunch of Johnny come latelys. I won't list what I have but suffice it to say I'd have to buy another safe first if I wanted another gun.  =D

oops, time to go to the match!   =)

SInce your putting it on an AR why choose only one? Just stick another rail on there and go with both,  :P

Just buy an AR pistol and hang that off one of the rails as well.

"And you shoot better then they do too."

Some of them, yes.

You should have heard the sound of underwear being sucked up butts a couple of years ago when I uncased my S&W 3000 riot gun.

And proceeded to have a very good round of skeet.

I loved my Smith 3000s.  I should have kept them instead of selling them to the Battle Ground PD.

I'm fairly ready.  Plenty of mags of all types (AR, AK47 and 74, M14, FAL, G3, Glock mags, etc.).  Plenty of ARs (and lowers), AKs, HK91s, M14s, FALs, a .50 USMG, inter alia.  I just hope that the Masada comes out before AWB 2.0.  Want to snag a couple of Masadas before the door closes again.

Buy them cheap, stack them deep.

I am the same.  I have actually been making sure I have plenty of pistol mags over the last 6 months.  Picked up a new lower before the election.  I thought about buying a few more mags as a gift, but everyone is out now.

I don't understand how obtuse someone must be to have waited til  now to stock up on guns, ammo, and mags.  What were they thinking?  Its been pretty obvious Obama was going to win for months.

Who waited?

I stockpiled when Clinton won.

There are some truly ignorant comments in that article.  Is it trolling or do folks who think they are members of an elite group or something really hate "rednecks" that much?

I used to work as a checker at a grocery store by a University.  I had a couple of left wing elitist go threw my line one day.  One had commented to the other that he was going to the City (San Fran) that weekend for some culture and that Reno was nothing but a hick town.

This was over 10 years ago when this happened.  If anything the atmosphere has gotten worse, not better.
