This Morning:

This Afternoon:

New shirt, new charcoal wool slacks, new shoes that aren't quite as shiny as my low-quarters.

And my chin is cold now.  :'( Never did manage to get the dang goat even anyway.  =(

I hope I look more employable now. Still waiting to hear back about getting the interview set.

Damn, you look respectable!

Once you have the job, you can go back to looking like a typical grungy 20 year-old. ;)

Akk, that's a grungy 24 year old, thank you very much. I said I look younger with a bald chin.

I gotta tell you man, that's 100% better for an interview.

I agree, now that I can really see the difference with the facial hair. I would have trimmed back the goat to probably half the length and dressed up, but it's more professional looking this way.

Thinking that I should ask the question probably meant that I knew the answer, as far as the beard goes.

I dig the pants, both for being wool and the charcoal color. Never owned wool pants before. Thanks to whoever suggested that.

Looking Good !!

Now go ace the interview !!!
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

man cleans up better than safeway chicken
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

MUCH better and more presentable.

I'd say you have a good outfit going, with good colors, just make sure the shirt is freshly and well ironed before the interview. If you don't have an iron, you suck at it, or you have an ironing phobia take the shirt to the local dry cleaners to have it laundered and pressed, normally only costs a couple bucks. If you want get it lightly starched while you are at it to keep it looking presentable longer (you can ask them for a recommendation, different fabrics and blends take different amounts of starch better).

The difference between a crisp well pressed shirt and a sloppy wrinkled one is night and day. It's one large step in appearance that gives an aura of attention to detail.
That is all. *expletive deleted*ck you all, eat *expletive deleted*it, and die in a fire. I have considered writing here a long parting section dedicated to each poster, but I have decided, at length, against it. *expletive deleted*ck you all and Hail Satan.

Very presentable!
