There's no "Rosie O'Donnell breaks wind" option.

There was no reasonable way to show the destruction of the inner Solar System.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

I visited Hiroshima while on a business trip. I was amazed at the number of trees along the "Peace Highway" (I think its called) that had survived the blast not even 1/2 mi away from the ground epicentre.

This major thorough fair has wide green space on each side. In satellite view, you can see the trees. As I recall, about half of these are bomb survivors.

The A-bomb memorial dome marks the approximate blast center, at ~1000ft above ground level. The walls of this building survived the blast because it was directly below the center. The ceiling and floors blew out, but the walls remained.
I’m not saying I invented the turtleneck. But I was the first person to realize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck! The… tactleneck!

and the casualties woulda been much lower if the folks had a clue as to what they were dealing with.they hung around ate contaminated food drank glow in the dark water
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

There was a photo essay done a few years ago by a Russian girl who did a motorcycle tour of the area.

I remember that. Just looked it back up. She's moved to a new site and added some stuff:

Anybody find that standard nukes don't seem that big? It seems that to wipe out an average american city would take at least 4-6 ICBM or standoff rocket bombs.

I was also surprised.  If I'm at home, I'm pretty safe, If I'm at work... I work about 1 mile from a boeing factory sooooo, methinks it would be a target... at least I'd die quickly.
