Can anyone ship me a case of the stuff?

I want to stand on the street with a big sign reading: 'Free Cider for Drunks'

After our layover in Shannon Ireland on the way back from Iraq, I became a great fan of Scrumpy Jack cider. My beloved wife decided to buy me some for a Christmas present, since it is apparently not imported into the States normally. Between the cans coming in 4 not 6 packs, and the exchange rate working the opposite of how she thought, those ended up costing somewhere around $9 a can.  Great cider tho...

Very pedestrian tastes lads.

I'm kidding, those three named along with brands like Bulmers and Magners are the big brands.
I do not like, when with me play, and I think that you also

Forgive my ignorance here. Non-alcoholic cider - is it any different to fizzy apple juice?

Also - Lack of popularity a taste thing, or perhaps lack of taste for cider? Or was a fledging cider industry crushed by prohibition never to return? Or are there more anti-cider laws on the books?

I'm not a big drinker, but I do like cider occasionally. The image of cider has been substantially improved in the UK in recent years by very successful marketing from rather mediocre cider brands. It used to be viewed as a cheap drink for drunks and teenagers or something rustics consumed.
The "non-alcoholic" cider sold over here does contain some alcohol. Not much, but in theory you could get wasted on it. I don't want to think about what it must feel like to drink the copious amounts necessary to get a buzz from it though. Anyhow, that cider is mostly served to kids if there is a festive occasion which requires a fizzy drink for all, and the parents feel that it might not be such a good idea to have their sprogs drinking champagne...

Strongbow is the US label of Bulmer's. I've been trying to find it in the US since I returned fro
Ireland. My wife and I love it.
