We use ours more like a pickup anymore.  I don't think the third seat has been in there for five years.  I wish I could convert it to a 4-door pickup with a short bed  =|

A little off topic...but my mother (81 years old) surprised the crap out of me a few years ago when she bought her first import car...a pre-owned KIA.  She's never had a problem and continues to be very happy with it. I never thought I's see her in any import...let alone a lesser known one like a KIA...it still kinda shocks me to think about it.

Because one of his friends has and likes one, a Kia is the first import my 78yo grandfather has ever considered buying.  He bought a Chevy Colorado a few years ago, so that'll likely be the last vehicle he buys, but he's impressed with the Kia.

We bought a van today.  A dealership had a 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L with 33k on the Odo for $23k.  They gave me $3k for my Camry (according to online resources, it was worth about $2500).  I paid $10k down and financed the rest.  I was able to get a 3.59% rate for 5yrs.  In all likelihood, I'll pay it off in 3yrs.  We get a bumper to bumper warranty for 7rs (from date of service, ie 2014) or 100k. It's moderately equipped, but has everything we wanted in a van.  I'm not crazy about having a car payment again, but I'm happy to be rid of the lemon Camry.  I'll be driving the 4Runner from now on.

Oh yeah, the oil filter is VERY easy to get to, not as easy as the Kia, but better than any other vehicle I've owned.  Oil changes are going to be a breeze.

I think you'll be happy.  My neighbors have one and they love it.
