Deer Baby Jeebus,

I've got to be there really early.  Please give me a wake-up call at 6 AM. Kthksbi!

Apologies for the true believers, but the running commentary on wake-up calls is really funny.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

Odd question; how does the FAA define "aviation?"  She was definitely in (ballistic) flight for some distance, in a motor vehicle with no airworthiness certificate that can't qualify as an ultralight, and on the premises of an airport, so I wonder if they could claim jurisdiction.

Since the ground was attempting to reclaim jurisdiction as quickly as possible they'll probably let it slide.

I hope the tollbooth operator sent the idiot's insurance company a bill for the drycleaning.

I know I would.

In my experience, by price tag.

"Aviation" stuff costs more than other stuff. Since that IFO (identified flying object) was a cheap Chevy, the FAA will ignore it. Now, if that had been a Ferrari...

If that had been a ferrari it would have sprouted wings, sailed to a safe landing on the other side and just keep on going as if nothing had ever happened. Everybody knows that.  =|

Actually, I wish there was some vid of the landing, that had to be pretty spectacular too.  :O

No, that's not true. Only Citroens do that.

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
