Never had any problem with anything connected to the CVT tranny.

Count yourself very, very lucky.

It's all about the pancakes, people.

This... Nissan cvts have an abysmal reliability record. Friends of my wife's had both of their cars, an Altima and a Murano have their cvts crap the bed the same week. Both at about 40k miles. Its too bad because their engines are usually pretty bullet proof.

I've had several Murano's, 2005, 2011, 2014, 2018 and our present 2022.  Never had any problem with anything connected to the CVT tranny.
Are those consecutive or serial?  If you're only keeping a car for four years at a stretch then most things will last just fine.

Yeah, I don’t trade in cars.  I try to keep them going to the bitter (or in this case acrid) end.
