Yeah, I know. They're everywhere. But I seem to get a lot of emails from the dumbest of the bunch from my website.
At least once a week I get an email from my Contact page that says in effect, "I want to buy a gun. How much does it cost?"
Then there's the emails from overseas. Somebody from Elbonia asks if I can sell them a BoomMaster 2000XP.
I started a few weeks back selling items from the site. Crimson Trace laser grips so far have been the most popular.
During the past few weeks, I've had two customers buy laser grips, thinking that the pistol in the photo came with the grips. Yup. They think that for $190 they can get a set of laser grips and a Glock.
It's funny, except for dealing with the returns.
That's just how it is when dealing with the public. I own a lawnservice / snowplowing company.
I'll have people call and ask if we cut grass. Better yet, people will stop me
while I am mowing, ask if I cut grass, then ask for a business card. Ditto for snowplowing.
In the fall, there's always a few new customers who ask if a fall cleanup is included in the price of a cut. Sure buddy, your cut takes 15 minutes, but I'll drag a whole crew over here and spend an hour cleaning up your property
for free.
You really do see it all when you own a business.
