Donner Party 2008
« on: February 02, 2008, 10:05:36 AM »
Well, CNN says that about 150 folks are still left on that Amtrak train that got snowed in last night.

They are not reporting on what the main entre will be for dinner.

Last winter we has some wicked blizzards in western Iowa that shut down I-80 and I-29 for several days, local snowmobile clubs went out and rescued stranded drivers because much of the emergency services couldn't travel either.

I have a feeling something similar is going for the stranded Amtrak train.

That's the way! I was _really_ hoping this would disintegrate nicely, but everyone is being much too...

...you know, what _is_ the proper way to prepare? Skewered and roasted whole, or chunked and then BBQed?

Well, Bogie, I guess it depends how long the dining car can provide a means to heat food. If they hold out too long before resorting to long pork, they might have to eat it raw...

If I were on that train, I'd hoard the cooking oil and hold out for a friar.

I'd build a fryer and hold out for a whore.  Mmmm, tasty, pre-tenderized whore.

Friars might be kind of tough since most I know are old.
