I didn't think Red Robin was "fast food."

Now that you got me thinking about it, the best mexican "fast food" I ever ate was from this little stand alone booth that was just like a fotomat in San Diego where Mamacita and her son whupped up these burritos that I swear were the best in the land. The beef was juicy and tender and stringy and they made a machaka (sp?) burrito that I was totally hooked on. I was telling a Mexican friend about it recently and he says, "Do you know what goes in machaka?" I said, "No and I don't want to."

"fast casual". It's the new fast food, but without hard plastic seats and the smell of industrial disinfectant.
