Quigley Down Under soundtrack?
« on: April 17, 2008, 02:23:41 PM »
Does anyone have a relatively inexpensive source for the Quigley soundtrack? Amazon.com has it for almost $50, ten times what I paid for the movie!

Welcome to APS, PTK. Glad ya dropped by. Watch out for Fistful. It's ALWAYS his fault here.

I have no idea for the source of a Quigley soundtrack, though. But someone should be along shortly.

Oh, and I watched your video of your SBR Mosin Nagant today. Real cool.

I noticed that Shiloh Sharps' website plays the Quigley theme song as part of their online tour.

Yes, indeed. I'm up in the air as to whether order a Quigley rifle from them, too... with the options I want, it'd be $3,050.   undecided

I keep the QDU soundtrack price inflated, because I have a small collection of them.  I suggest you buy now, before prices increase again.  Soon.

DO NOT buy a Quigley Sharps or any other variety of the 1874 Sharps rifle.

(Because you'll be going through BP and 500+gr cast boolits like underwear, and your other rifles will languish in the gun safes, that's why!)   grin

I'm taking my 32" 1874 Business Rifle out this weekend, as a matter of fact.

Well... too late. I've listed a bunch of my guns for sale to be able to buy an 1874 Quigley rifle.  grin

The end titles are 99 cents on iTunes, but it's the Prague orchestra, not the original soundtrack.

Ok, but I warned you!

BTW, when you get your Sharps, you may want to research the term, "Barrel Time", aka Bullet/Barrel Dwell Time.

Graduating from smokeless centerfire to BP centerfire, I had to change my shooting technique to accomodate the above phenomenon.  Just like in golf, you need to follow through with your shots.  Wink

Those of us that are really good just show one hole and proclaim, sure we can do this at will grin

Bruce, I may have to start doing that.

I fired up my Lee melting pot today, and cast a batch of 535gr Postells.  After I go through my existing stash of lead, things are going to get expensive real quick - forcing me to work with single hole groups at the range.   shocked
