Well, since this thread hasn't been locked...yet.

Snipes was in Africa filming a movie when the feds started looking for him. They couldn't find him.

Meanwhile, the National Enquirer called the production company and asked for the shooting schedule. The Enquirer made a phone call and found him. The feds probably spent more on agents to look for him than what Snipes owed in taxes.

No, someone swept in and did it for you when they started bitching about how Congress spends our tax dollars.

Taxation is a bureaucratic process of government, it is NOT the political process itself.

The narrow enforcement in this instance bears much similarity to the political martyrdom -- related to enforcement -- in Mr. Snipes's case: it smacks of an unusual, and atypical, amount of knee-jerk and is not what has been previously recognized as common practice.

Using your tortured "logic," EVERY subject on these boards is a political subject, because there is some law, somewhere, that applies, and laws, as we know, are passed by politicians, even if they're administered by another entity entirely.
