I saw him a few years ago.  Sadly, he seemed too old and tired to really put on a proper show.

So, on that cheery note, enjoy your concert tonight.

It was still a fun show.  It just made me wonder how much cooler it would have been to see him perform 10 or 20 years ago.

Really, it was a good show.

Normally when I see a thread with a title like this I assume the person in question died....   undecided

I saw him about 3 years ago, I enjoyed the show. He now sits through his concert, chats with the audience, and can still make Lucille wail.

I will be seeing him on the 4th of July.  grin

Disappointing show.  90 minutes, five songs.  Several songs interrupted so he could talk, which were never resumed.  15 minute stretches of him talking about viagra, cialis, levitra, and how to get your woman drunk without her knowing so you can get your "supper."  Glad I got a cheap $20 seat instead of the poor suckers who dropped a c note.

Sorry it wasn't so good.  I saw him in January, and he may be hanging on for dear life, but when he clicks, it's amazing.

I also saw him in the late '80s.  Some unknown named Buddy Guy opened for him.  THAT was a show!
