I also am deeply puzzled by this strange message.  Why, every graffito I have met with up 'til now has been well-thought-out, insightful and articulate.

fistful, my favorite graffito ever was "Stop Cock Destruction," always in pink, all over the city.

What does it mean?

Save the roosters? Stop the way penises tend to destroy things? Or a simple reference to breaking plumbing?

It was awesome.

Back on topic: I think it could be graffiti because you woudln't throw around a term *let's not go there* like that as a black person. It seems casual sometimes the way it's said but there is a definite coda and this does not fit in.

I'll make no comment on the pink missive you mention.  I had not considered the strange use of the n-word as you point it out.  In all sincerity, it is much odder than I had considered.

To me, the graffiti may indicate the shallow mentality of those who watch 5 minutes of sound bite propaganda disseminated as news.
 
Or, the perpetrator (s) are typical high school students trying to get a rise out of adults.

I am 99% sure the idiot/sharpie theory is the correct one, just based on Occam's Razor.
But trying to get cosmic meaning out of it is more fun.

Maybe it is really a pro-Bush statement, that Bush is elevating Black people by giving them greater opportunities, putting to rest the stereotypical "lazy *let's not go there*."

I feel the meaning is clear; this is the voices, speaking to the remaining Heaven's Gate devotees, through what appears to be a perfectly enigmatic message.

Translated, it means:

OK then, Ill play since I get to speculate. I believe Nostradamus predicted that there would be a great storm in the gulf in 2005 caused by a Republican president who was on vacation in a neighboring state that would eventually take in most of the evacuees who were primarily rich Canadians, and levees would fail and there would be much controversy and graffiti followed by run on sentences.

So he was wrong about the rich Canadians. Still pretty a good guess heh?
