Y'know Maned, the Israelis have tons of FALs and the Czechs made the VZ-58. I'm sure you know how corrupt Eastern European generals like to make their cash.

Like I said, nothing should surprise us.

Wrong handguard for an Israeli FAL.

How's this for eclectic?

Winchester (style?) lever action, Steyr AUG, Imperial Storm Troop... I mean Sterling, and a P90.
I promise not to duck.

Sterlings are awesome.

I got to fire one on full-auto. Smooth little thing. Very easy to control, too.

Don't worry, though. I bet you could get anything into the US if you  come back as a passenger on a cargo ship.

Let's see: you're going to rob a Brinks truck so you'll have money to buy guns.

But you need guns to rob the Brinks truck.

You might want to rethink this.

Good movie. I do have an AK now, =D

When did they team up with the Empire to get E11s!?  :O That is one nice lever action, ;). And I can't imagine they would be able to shoot the P90 much, I wouldn't think that would be a very common ammo to find over there.

Oh yeah. 9mm subguns are a blast to shoot. Got to shoot a Sten MKII at a Knob Creek shoot.

Sterling -> Sten is like Aston Martin -> Reliant Robin

There's noooo comparison. The Sten is crude and not even safe to drop. The Sterling is a smooth, easy-handling gun with an admittedly complicated folding stock. (until you get the hang of how it deploys!)

Don't be so sure. It turns out P90s are used by the Pakistani Army and the Saudis. Even if they were'nt, you think the arms dealers and corrupt leaders don't sell ammo along with their guns?

Besides, if the insurgents don't already have facilities to load their own ammo, they can always farm the job out to the tribesmen near the Khyber Pass.

You would be amazed at the weapons found on insurrgents or in caches.  In Bagdad we found Mausers, Enfields, Stens, an FAL with British markings, in addition to the regular Warsaw Pact guns.  Once we found a box full of 20 and 30 round Thompson mags, but could'nt find the Tommygun even after tearing the place apart.  There were also a wide variety of handguns, mostly Berretas and poorly made copies of Berretas, but on one raid we recovered a mint Colt Commander 1911 (which the LT promptly took for his carry gun).

I've also seen reports and photos of Saddams secret police weapons caches that included rooms stacked full of brand new Browning HPs still in the box and MP-5Ks with the factory briefcase that you shoot out of.  The HPs were turned over to the Iraqi police to be issued and then the US promptly bought and issued them all Glock 17s.  Even a local farmer next to our Fob had a snub-nosed Colt .38 he carried in a shoulder holster.

Berretas and poorly made copies of Berretas

Helwan, or "Khyber Pass Specials"? Both qualify, but the former was licensed. ;)
