Illegal immigrants should be put on a truck catapult back to their home nation.

With some of the nonsense going on lately locally, I am to that point.

It's bizarre to me that this is controversial. If you're in illegally, than this means the People of that nation do not want you there. This by itself means you should be out.

And while that is true, I still think it's fair to say that LEGAL immigrants retain most of their rights, because rights, as we all know on this forum, do not emerge from government action, but from the inherent (some would say god-given) dignity of each man.

Illegal immigrants should be put on a truck back to their home nation.
If the citizenry allows some folks to come here and those folks do so legally and behave well, I have no problem with that.

My POV is not anti-immigrant, it is pro-citizen, in that the citizenry ought to have the last word.

The problem is the bleating socialists who do. Hence sanctuary cities.

And hence things in the sanctuary cities, like a previously deported violent illegal MS-13 member executing a father and son with an AK over a traffic altercation in San Francisco. Because that's just how you resolve things down in El Salvador, apparently, so why not here?

And yet the leftists wring their hands...and blamed the gun.

I am just astonished at the cringing, bleating idiocy of the socialists.

Keene, here, is unfortunately infested with leftists from a college.

An illegal alien carnival worker with a violent history raped a woman who was jogging alone. That hadn't happened before in recent memory, ever.

What do the leftists in Keene want, now?

To be a sanctuary city. ???

Wait. Keene has a college? Does that college have a graduate program?

Keene State. Liberal s___hole of ultraleftists jammed in there for some reason. Place is infested with hippies. Thankfully, it's way out west and away from the rest of civilization.

Whenever a pro-Obama-messiah or antigun comment appears in the Union-Leader, it is invariably from some flower child in Keene.

After checking, I found out it maintains no Advanced History program.

You would want to be told that the history of White Men is evil and noble third-world countries are the key to sustaining the earth?

You can't argue anything else at a college like that. You'd fail.

So essentially it's like Tel-Aviv University?

At any rate, this is all academic (pun intended). They have no program. Oh well. I already have a 16-college list to which I will be spamming applications come December, if there is no strike. Which there will be.

Very well put! If people are in the country legally, they are in many respects comparable to citizens. Even to the point of being able to vote in municipal elections under certain circumstances. But even illegal immigrants have rights. You can not torture an illegal person bewcause you'd violate his right to be unharmed (in our wannabe-constitution*: Recht auf körperliche Unversehrtheit). Certain rights are inherent to all humans.

2swap,

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Well, yes.

But usually laws are supposed to express the will of the people, no? Obviously there are people of various stripes who do want illegals to come across national borders, either to hire them for low pay, or for other reasons. That doesn't mean it's proper.

I think Americans are at a disadvantage of being for our causes since their language lack terms like informationelle Selbstbestimmung and Datenschutz, but I would have thought that APS are for privacy, against government using high tech to spy on its citizens, against storing 'connection information' on every call and web site access, against the police using trojans against private PCs...
Generally in the US we like to think we have some constitutionally protected privacy. It doesn't always work out that way, but we like to think it does, and mostly it does. As for keeping track of connection data, there are very good reasons why the companies that provide these services just about have to keep such records. once the data exists it is not too far from the government having access to it.

Europe just does not have those protections enshrined in law or tradition.
