Where's the ACLU for Hitler???
« on: January 14, 2009, 02:00:16 PM »
Anyone read the story about the 3 kids named Adolf, Aryan Nation, and Hinler???

Pretty interesting what the government can do or thinks they can do.

Obviously the parents are a little fuzzy in regards to the future their children will lead but isn't this kinda like the Johnny Cash song about a Boy Named Sue?

You will not teach your children anything which does not conform with the state.

Assuming the kids themselves turn out normal, they will end up changing their names anyway. I wouldn't want to meddle in the business of parents naming their kids myself.

"Pretty interesting what the government can do or thinks they can do."

The problem is, you're making an assumption that the children were removed from the home simply because of their names.

There is NOTHING to support that supposition at this time.

Very true Mike, but then we can get into how MSM can fashion a story to make us lean one way or another but I didn't want to go there. =D

You are correct, it does not mention why the children were removed.  It is easy for any of us to assume it was because of the parents beliefs but I am willing to bet that people this extreme are also not the best parents.  I am not saying it is one or the other, just that we need more info before we judge who the bad guys are.

not kids or parents first "encounter" i suspect more will be revealed
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.
