Cool snow fort.

Now this is a good use for snow.  This is being built just down the street from me.  It looks like they have a wooden form they use to create the layers as they build upward.  Behind and left of the fort there is a good size trebuchet as well.   =D

And on a related note, this was delivered yesterday for the above snow fort.

Cool. It must suck even more for them to have to go to school tomorow than for most other teens/kids.

They started building it in November, I think.  Last year they had a similar model, but it had more castle-ness to it.

That is awesome! I would have loved to have done that back in the day. We did have an absolutely huge hay barn though and we made some pretty cool forts in there with tunnels and what not. The hay barn was big enough to park a decent sized plane in it. And it was half full of square bales. Good times.

That snow fort will be dangerous come warmer weather though. They will have to make sure to tear it down so neighborhood kids don't play in it when it starts melting.
