So, how are the things put on anyway? It appeared to fire... Is it something like the Savage barrel nut system?

The barrel just screws in, Bogie. It's been a loooong time since I dealt with Ma Deuce, mind, but there's a small tool that's used to set the barrel and bolt. Something comes to mind about drawing the bolt back far enough to insert this fairly thin tool - about a quarter-inch, maybe - and...doing something else at the back end. All I can remember about setting the barrel properly is the quick-and-dirty method - spin it all the way in and back it out two turns...or was it two clicks...? I disremember how the tool was used for that.

I do remember what readying it was called, though, setting headspace and timing, and I bet the guy in the vid doublechecks that every time now.
