I'd rather see her when she's all naked and articulate and stuff.

Seriously though, she's one very attractive woman, and I think she sold out some, as she looks like she's lost a little weight, I thought she was gorgeous before, now she's looking a little more to the american ideal.

You guys are missing the most important bit of critical information here.
Why does fistful pay attention to "In Style Weddings" magazine?

I don't know, that photo looks to me as though it was extensively photoshopped. Notice the odd curvature of her left forearm? It seems as though someone found it too "chubby" for good taste. I do agree, one of the things I have always liked about her was her abundance of curves.

=D  I figured the ribbing would be along the lines of "Why were you image-searching Christina Hendricks?"

Actually, my wife called me from the supermarket to tell me about it.  I made her go back and get the name of the magazine, so I could pass on the news as a public service to all of you.

And this is the thanks I get?   =)

Any one who wants to follow along with all things Whedon or from his creations can go to here:

Lots of absolutely inane drivel in the comments, but some useful tips about Firefly (and other Whedon projects) to be found.

Almost definitely some photochopping going on there.  Her curves are very much in evidence on Mad Men.

I think so. It's very dark in places, with subject matter that made me feel awkward about it initially. If happy escapism is your bag, look elsewhere. If you appreciate drama that covers some unpleasant terrain on the human map with a seemingly accurate portrayal of a unique period in time, check it out.

Well *I* certainly am not shy about using the almighty Google image search on this one...  =D

Judging by this picture, I wouldn't be surprised if she was photoshopped a bit.

The wife and I absolutely love it.  We snagged seasons 1 and 2 on DVD from NetFlix and now we're using the cable company's on-demand feature to watch Season 3 as the new episodes roll out.

I'm not really sure how to describe it.  The characters aren't squeaky clean by any means but there's no such thing as a villain in the show either.  Just people and their messed up lives all set in the early 60's.   It all works quite well and it's kept our attention pretty well.

Indeed you are, good sir!

Anyway, I'm going to go do more um, research on the whole photoshopped issue... look for better pictures... er, I mean evidence... or something...

I like it a lot.  The characters are believably flawed, and it shines a light onto the negative aspects of the time, particularly if you are a woman or minority without being too preachy.  I also think that the main male character, Don Draper is pretty badass.

The show always leaves my wife and I lamenting the current lack of style in everyday dress.

Agreed....but I'd have a hard time making it in a Texas summer if I had to wear a suit and hat everyday....
