Congress and White House
« on: October 27, 2009, 10:12:38 PM »
Could someone please explain to me why, when our economy is in a shambles, we're losing our manufacturing base, having monumental growing national debt, growing unemployment, the dollar is dangerously devalued and much of the worlds' developed nations are conspiring to replace the dollar as the benchmark currency, our borders and ports are not secure, while having enormous natural resources yet our energy needs are controlled by forces who hate our freedom and liberty...Our congress and the White House are not paying attention to these realities while trying to bury us in deeper debt with ill conceived national health care and exacerbating our poor economy with a cap and trade bill that is based in fantasy and is counterproductive?

If the aforementioned realities continue, our country will slide into permanent shambles and health care and cap and trade will be the very least of our worries.

Islamic extremists aren't capable of such heights of lunacy.  Only socialists...

I read this and processed it as:

If one didn't know better, one might almost think that our elected leaders are not working towards America's best interest.

One word comes to mind: Malice.
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

This. It's past the point where I can believe they're just too stupid to know any better.
