Where are the signs on the borders of Massachusetts and Arkansas?

OK...
I just cannot imagine that the state of Conneticutt bought, paid for and placed that sign. Has to be a private individual or something - right?

In any event it is in extremely poor taste regardless of how one feels about Mr. Bush. He is still the President of the United States and that in and of itself is worthy of respect.

What the real signs look like:

Interesting how the "Connecticut Welcomes You" part is blurrier than the jab at Bush, too.

Sorry werewolf, I figured everybody would know it was a joke type fake job.

Interesting to note that in days gone by I've driven by both the signs Nathaniel has posted. I'm about 30 minutes from the "Union" one. That woud be heading west on Rt 84 coming from Mass. into CT. The other one, if i'm not mistaken must be rt 44 East coming from NY into CT.  Sharon is in the Northwest hills and home to the tallest peak in CT, Bear Mountain. Bear mountain is not the highest spot in CT however. Mt Frizzel just to the west of Bear has CT's "high spot" but it's peak is in Mass. Just some CT fun facts for you.

Doh,,,I stand corrected. Salisbury is the home of Bear Mt and the like. Sharon is the next town south of Salisbury. However I did confirm that the sign for Sharon is most definitely on rt 44.

Cheesy That's what happens when one is just too trusting or maybe just plain gullible.  That'll teach me. Wink
