What's the WWB 100rd packs of .45acp going for at WalMart nowadays?

Or... Remington/S&B/Fiocchi/AmEagle/whatever at other retailers?

I think I'm having reload drama and I need to test my pistol against a known constant... need 200 rounds.

100rds of .45 FMJ was just shy of $30 for me at WalMart, last I bought any (a few months ago)

You guys have a Walmart with .45 in stock? Of ANY kind?  :O I haven't seen a box of .45 at Walmart in over a year.

WalMart where I used to live went out of stock for all of two weeks, then it's like nothing happened. I was even buying .380ACP a while ago.  =)

$30 in WI, when you can find it.


I haven't bought any .45 except some Wolf in the past several years. Its much cheaper for me to cast/reload, and I'me doing the environment a favor by returning the nasty poisonous lead back to the earth where it came from :laugh:

Well, I hit 2 different walmarts and the $32 .45acp was not present.

So, I hit Sportsman's Warehouse and got told by the guy behind the counter "what a good deal" I was getting for $40/100 for Remington UMC green box. ;/  $80 later, at least I have ammo for next Tuesday.

Yeah, but that's still $32 for 100.

And, it's that dirty UMC crap. (That's been my experience with UMC .45 ACP ammo.)

I bought 3 boxes of the Winchester .45 ACP 230 gr JHP personal defense stuff for $30 a box a few weeks ago.
Practice stuff and match ammo I load myself with cast bullets.
