DVI KVM Switch?
« on: January 24, 2010, 06:13:38 PM »
I'm looking at springing for a small form factor computer as a "mundane task" box and possibly as a server. Rather than always remoting into it from my big one (part of this plan is reducing energy consumption), I'm looking at going to a KVM switch. I haven't used one since before DVI and high def cards / monitors. I never really noticed any degradation through the VGA, but we're talking back in the days of low rez.

My question is, do any of you use a DVI KVM switch, and do you notice any degradation in image quality through the switch versus direct? I'm not at all concerned with a little degradation from the SFF, but don't want any noticeable quality loss from the big boy.
