The "O" symbol
« on: February 24, 2010, 01:50:09 PM »
WTF is up with this?

I don't recall any other President having a symbol represent him and his office so pervasively.  Let alone a podium placard or seal or flag.

Now, we have the Missile Defense Agency logo:

And we have allegations that the Great Seal of Obama is actually a muslim symbol in disguise.

Does anyone else recall anyone other than Prince so closely identifying with a symbol?

"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist."
--Lysander Spooner

Well, there was that guy - can't recall his name right now - that was really synonomous with that pinwheel looking symbol  ;)

Here is my logic.

O is a circle that never ends or begins.

Some people are full of bull manure

So you add those together and you have never ending bull crap.

They're not using the Obama campaign logo in any official capacity, are they?

Remember when people thought Obama was making up his own American flag?
http://michellemalkin.com/2008/10/13/its-not-an-obama-flag-its-ohios-state-flag/

When in reality, it was just Ohio's state flag?

The human brain is a very well developed pattern recognition engine, and at times it'll fall back on that design even when we don't mean it to.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
