Since it occupies a fairly wide section of screen real estate, I put the lines in for some cohesiveness. That part will get redone later. How does the 'tagline' strike you?
In other news, someone has been posting
http://porn.progunvoter.com around on various gunboards I frequent, all ostensibly from a normal poster. Now, I won't be uncharitable. Maybe he's just a fan.
A fan of his paycheck, which says progunvoter.com.
I looked over the entire website, and I can't say I'm impressed in the least. It looks like an attempt to make a board that will get thousands of visitors, along the line of TFL and THR. No, that was too complimentary. Three words are all that I need:
Trying too hard.Seems more like what someone would do if they wanted to "cash in" on the internet world of gunnies. Big overblown slogan? Check. Desert Eagles as subform header images? Check. Ubitiquous overpriced cafe press (=crap!) shop? Chizz-eck.
Come
on. I'm not even close to loading my site up with unadulterated bullcrap like "defenders of the second amendment". I don't have delusions of grandeur that put myself on the same level as the NRA / GOA (I favor the GOA, they don't ask for my money constantly because of irrelevant UN boogeymen, but the NRA has it's accomplishments) and I won't say things like that until I've done or helped organize something that actually could be construed, however loosely, to be a defense of or public blow in the favor for RKBA.
And to top it off, it's owned by "tuff media". Great. You named yourself after a fancy potting soil substitute. This is better than
drinking unicorn giggles.Ok, ok. I will probably steal the 1-10 rating option for the gun quickpic host, but that was an idea I had beforehand. It'll be interesting to see how fast this new little entrance to our world becomes a faded post-it note in internet history.
PS: Bonus points if you catch all the PA references.
