Second was the touchdown by Rothlesburger. The ball didn't break the plane of the goal line. Sad.
Care to retract your claim?
Disclaimer: I am a Pittsburgh fan.
The pass interference penalty that negated a touchdown must have hurt. Read the rules. What the Seahawk player did was a textbook definition of a push-off. You do that, you take your chances. Taking chances right in front of the ref during the Superbowl is a poor decision.
Did the refs block for Willie Parker when he ran 75 yards for a TD?
Did the refs catch the ball thrown by ARE to Hines ward for a touchdown?
Did the refs cause Seattle to miss two field goals?
Did the refs cause Seattle to horribly mismanage the clock at the end of the first half?
Did the refs cause Seattle's soft tight end to drop three crucial passes?
Did the refs push the Seattle's wide receiver out of bounds on what would've been a touchdown pass?
Did the refs throw the ball to Ike Taylor, killing the Seahawk's hopes of coming back?
Those who whine about how the refs cost Seattle a championship are simply looking for some way to mitigate their pain at a loss.
Seattle lost. They did not have an "off game." They were not "cheated." They lost to a team that outplayed them.
The Steelers defense contained the Seahawk's offense. The Seahawks made very bad decisions at critical times. The Steelers came up with huge plays when they most needed them.
Don't be like your head coach. The way he walked off the field without shaking Cower's hand was a disgrace.
Show some sportsmanship. Show some courage.
You lost. Be a man and accept it.
