Obama loses his new drilling embargo, and another rig blows up and sinks in the gulf.

No news yet if the BOP is operating correctly to stop another spill.

I hope all the crew is okay.

Current reports are the rig was not productive, and that all 13 crew got off - one with still-unannounced injuries.

"Since" Dept. of Homeland Security (why do I always mentally add 'Sieg Heil'?) was already in the area, it has "assumed" authority over this incident.

So I guess we can all "deem" things are okey-dokey?

Correction (I think) -- this WAS a "production" rig (a mini-refinery), not a drilling rig. It was/is connected to 14 wells, and 7 or 8 of them were active. Supposedly all were shut down ... but the article I read also said there were no BOPs, so I don't quite grok what that's all about.
