And no, I'm not telling anyone how much younger my wife is than I am./
At least I come by it honestly.  My Mom is 14 years younger than my Dad.

See, now my spouse and I both come families in which the wife is older than the husband--his parents by three years, my parents by five.  I'm 2+ years older than he is, which seems inconsequential, but we still get teased about it.  Interesting how these patterns go.  AD, what's the age difference between your wife's parents?

For the record, my cousin's wife is close to twenty years older than he is. They lived together for about a decade, because it just seemed unacceptable for a woman that much older to marry a guy in his early twenties.  Eventually he turned thirty and they got tired of living their lives according to others' hangups.

But.... I'm not old enough to buy beer :'(
One definite upside to living in the UK is the drinking age of 18. That and being able to get away with it at 16 in many places.  =D

Welcome, by the way!

It's not what I pictured either, but every time I close my eyes he's nak.... less... clothed.  =D

The fact that some members of APS know what some members of APS look like naked is both humorous and disturbing to me.....
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

I suppose it would be disturbing for me... if he was not my boyfriend whom I have been together and living with for around 3 years.

I guess that means a few people on here have real blackmail heh

Welcome MeiMei.

Please ignore the rabble, and make yourself at home.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

That's about as therapeutic as taking a compulsive overeater to Golden Corral....

Has he also taken out a large life-insurace policy or two on you lately as well?....  =|

yes, hi, I'd like an order of the brain bleach too please! Some 9x19 mm would be nice as well. I'd mention my brand of beer but every time I do the beer snobs jump all up on me around here. However, the thought of 49 tanks  each containing 33,000 gallons of beer lined up in a gigantic refrigerated room just gives me the warm fuzzies.  :P

Didya see the "It's A Wonderful Life"-style ep where they got to be "just plain folks" for a while, Dean being some variety of yuppie cubicle worker?  He and Sam were, IIRC, Dean Smith and Sam Wesson.

Worse, I didn't catch it until my (non-gunnie) wife said "Wait, WHAT did they say their names were?"
