"I was informed:
"That the Civil War ain't over, it's just been a long time between battles."
Also the first place I heard the term: "War of Northern Aggression.""
I had a boss some years ago who couldn't get over the fact that the Civil War had passed him by.
He was going on and on about it until I told him I needed to take the afternoon to go to the United States embassy and get my visa renewed.
I told him that I was heading back home to Pennsylvania for the weekend, and if I didn't have a current travel visa I'd have problems getting back into the Confederate States of America when I hit the border Sunday evening.
He sort of looked at me, so I slapped my hand to my forehead and said "GEEZ, I keep forgetting WE won that war!"
I thought he was going to fire me on the spot.
That was also probably the first time that he had ever heard of the term "War of Southern Stupidity."
