Your point still eludes me. I'm not saying they can't do their thing, and I'm not whining. I'm just commenting.
CSD has no point, so don't worry yourself.
George Washington did enough to make him a great man, one of the greatest by any reasonable measure, a man who changed the course of history.
Thing is, he qualifies as great not only for what he did, but for what he did NOT do.
1. Did not become a military dictator after the war.
He had the only army left on CONUS. That army had some pretty riled up folks, due to the inadequacies of civilian government. GW was also immensely popular. Instead, he talked his righteously angry men down. A lesser man would have seized the power of all that.
2. Did not become a monarch, despite it being in the cards and offered.
Some folks are offered a crown when it is often wise to refuse, as other contenders may end up removing both crown and head. GW had no such contender. He was the only choice. And he refused.
3. Refused to serve a 3rd (or 4th, 5th...nth) term as POTUS.
GW could have been president for life and rode the office to the grave. Instead, he set the precedent of two terms & out (until that rat diddler FDR came along).
How many other men, offered such power on a platter, have refused? Repeatedly?
GW was both a greater man than MLK, he was also a better man than MLK, given all accounts.
Those buffoons at that rally display their ignorance and foolishness for all to see when, instead of embracing GW, they wall him off. Thank the good Lord for free speech, as it lets ignoramuses tell us all of their degraded state.
