R.I.P. Scout26
The proposed new Form DS-5513 asks for all addresses since birth; lifetime employment history including employers’ and supervisors names, addresses, and telephone numbers; personal details of all siblings; mother’s address one year prior to your birth; any “religious ceremony” around the time of birth; and a variety of other information.
Hawkmoon - Never underestimate another person's capacity for stupidity. Any time you think someone can't possibly be that dumb ... they'll prove you wrong.
Viking - The problem with the modern world is that there aren't really any predators eating stupid people.
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".
Did your mother receive pre-natal or post-natal medical care? ...Dates of appointments
How the hell am I supposed to know my Mother's address one year prior to my birth, more so if she has already passed away?
I've kept a spreadsheet with lifetime address and employer information. Started that in college in case I had to get a security clearance. Came in handy for that. Can't believe I might need it for fracking passport. That said, is there any unbiased source for what the questionairre will actually contain? The links in the article from the OP go to "papersplease.org". That makes me wonder if this is legit.
(Note that the proposed form itself was not published in the Federal Register. The Identity Project was eventually provided with a copy after requesting it from the Department of State, and posted it here.)
It is currently not known who will have to use the new form if it is put into action.
IDK if I want to ever find out personally why they want to prevent people from leaving.
By the time you find out it will be too late to leave.I dunno where one would go anyway But I might jump on a ship if there was a pretty girl sitting in a lawn chair on the dock
