sending mass emails with outlook express 6
« on: July 29, 2011, 07:29:57 PM »
i just changed my ISP, and am trying to send out a generic email to let everyone know.  unfortunatly, some of the 300+ contacts that i have are defunct emails.  this leads to the message"x" recipient not found, and the email will not send. is there a way to overide that "feature", and let the rest of them go through that do have valid emails?  barring that, is there a way of gleaning all the defunct addresses out of my address book without trying each one and individually erasing it? (i know, it does need to be done but if i can avoid doing it at this time it would be a help!)

guess i'll need to sit down and clean out the defunct addresses.    is there any shortcut to checking if they are still active?

Not in outlook express, unfortunately.  Outlook will.
