night vision gear?
« on: October 11, 2011, 09:00:51 PM »
goggles i think but i'm open to suggestions and reviews.
use would be yote control as well as observing some folks doing evil at night for a friend.
durability is vital  magnification and comfort is second

any recommends?
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Budget?

Coyote level stuff can be pretty reasonable.  Observing people that are trying to be sneaky is going to take better gear.

The current standard for .mil is an AN/PVS-14  If I was worried about people that's what I'd use.

I have a 'yote gun with an older (3 years or so) Gen 1+ scope on it and it's range limited to about 50-100yds unless it's a pretty bright night.

ITT (night vision) and ATK (Bunch of ammo, like Federal etc.) and L-3 Communications (EOTech holosights) are all customers of mine...

Think I could get a "coupon" or something?

Nope.  =(
I promise not to duck.
