Only sad part is that most muggings do not end with the mugger beaten and shot.

No, this is the sad part:

"Records show he has several convictions, including at least one for a residential burglary."

......and he was set free to commit the crime in the article.  After a couple of years, they'll let him go so he can do it again.  =|

This story is obviously a fabrication. There is no way he could have had a pistol in Chicago, they have a law against that don'tchaknow?
