bad dimmer switch.

If the 95 is wired like my 88, there's a circuit breaker in the headlight switch itself -- no external fuse. The circuit breakers rarely go bad. When they do, the lights will work for a few minutes, then cut out when the breaker heats up, then they'll come back on when it cools down.

That "headlight sentinal" delay thingie may be the culprit, and I believe it's a simple module plugged in between the headlight switch and the wiring harness. If you can find it, see if you can remove it and plug the two parts of the harness directly together. If that fixes it, you found the problem.

Shouldn't matter.

More to the point, do the parking lights come on? If the parking lights work, the headlight switch is working, so you should focus on the sentinal delay module.

I think the passing light circuit (lights coming on when you hold the stalk back) is seperate from the runtime circuit.  In other words the current is pulled directly from the fuse block through a unique power feed to that's seperate from the power feed that's used for regular headlight operation.

Check your fuses, all your fuses.  If your Jeep is like my parent's Tahoe, there can multiple fuses in the circuit, and in any one of THREE different fuse box locations.  It's maddeningly complex and the locations are seemingly random, but that's the way it is.

If your sister is anything like you, I don't think any of us would want to marry her. >:D [popcorn]

So she would actually have the common sense to stay away from most of us anyway.

you do have a mean streak.  i wouldn't set fistful up with her, if he was single.  neither would survive

we get along ok now.  not always though when she was 19 and i was 21 i gave her a 3 piece and knocked her out at the dinner table.most folks would say hitting a girl was evil, not so folks who knew her.  they are just surprised she didn't have me killed  i also threw her out on xmas eve from the home place a few years later.  she is one scary lady.  and the deceptive camouflage is particularly good. by the time they realize the danger they are lying in a pool ot their own blood dying

heck  she didn't piss me off  she through a plate of spaghetti (with the plate) in my face from 3 foot away. i was stunned for a second then just reacted on instinct.  i was scared after. he b/f could kick my butt.  xmas eve she fomented a fight between my lil bro and dad. i was awakened to her screaming for help. i peeled lil bro off dad.  dad suckered punched lil bro while i held him. i punched dad out.  and it all started when she decided to pour lil bros vodka out in the sink.  he 21 and in his own house. i don't blame him for being mad

you or the revdisk might enjoy/survive dating her. you need a permission slip from wife as well as a living will to take that chance

My daugher has a 90-something Cherokee.

The biggest problem that she has had with it has been with the door locks/latches and rear gate  ;/
