Bible apps for Android?

I am looking for a good app for reading and for looking up texts by word search.

I'm currently using YouVersion, but it makes me go through too many menus just to find the book or chapter that I'm looking for.

Never had a problem with YouVersion....
just works best with an active Internet connection....

You could download Kindle & buy a Bible.....

I don't think that's the problem. What I mean is that I have to go through five steps.

Open the app

Select Bible

Choose book

Choose Chapter

Choose Verse


Is there an easier way to do it?

Other than having God write it on stone tablets, probably not....

Have you tried the "bookmark" function?.....

On my Kindle, it's just click contents, click book, click chapter. I then find the verse on my own.

I'm not sure how the process could be any faster. Do you not have  touchscreen?

OK, I found a setting  on YouVersion that eliminates the last step, asking which verse I want, so it's like the above now.
