Attacking political issues with full force and passion is acceptable.

Pouncing on political personalities can be acceptable.

Pouncing of forum members is unacceptable.

To De Selby, and others - I am sorry that my passion caused me to abandon civility.

I unfortunately had a hand in a couple of thread closures, which is unfair to the OPs.

Again, sorry for driving off the rails.


Besides, it is all the fault of Fistful, Fistfulllllll, the artist formerly known as fistful, or whatever the he!! he he is calling himself these days!

I sympathize.  I have rewritten hundreds of posts over the years to remove personal comments/attacks either before I posted or right after.  I'm sure I didn't rewrite them all.  I think certain comments and the tone of them can get your blood up.  Sometimes you can see that tone is not intended, sometimes it is.  I'd still rather keep my comments on topic to the best of my ability (at least once I think about it).  I always regret attacks later.
