They've had scopes, rangefinders, lasers, weapons lights, etc. over the last few months.  Geeks love guns.  brimic, did you hear the Cheaper Than Dirt ads on the local AM station in the afternoon?

It must mean we're winning; perhaps I should back off my depression and general malaise, eh?

In our area we've approximately tripled the number of gun stores and ranges over about ten years, and many of the stores have taken to radio advertising.  Some of it is pretty bad (i.e. "Oh no honey, I hear zombies downstairs!  Thank goodness you went to Premier Arms!") but it is interesting to hear it on mainstream radio.

While liberty has spent the last decade getting beat up one side and down the other, guns have certainly become less of a boogyman.
