A common problem with putting a laser on a gun, especially if the person has been shooting a long time, is learning to transition from open sights to laser. A lot of people will instinctively use the sights and wind up shooting the laser dot as a target.
I've been shooting a while, but I've never had any formal training. I've got my crimson trace on a CZ. When I have the laser on, I tend focus on the laser dot and just look over the sights. I kind of fell into that while shooting. It was very easy. After the first shot, as soon as the laser came to a stop on the target, I was shooting again. Follow up shots were very quick.
