Beijing's Underground Dwellers
« on: August 12, 2012, 10:49:02 AM »
Interesting that some of these go three stories underground. They don't mention or show pictures of bathrooms, so I imagine it's all communal facilities. Some of them look smaller than an American McMansion closet.

Some of these are bigger than my room.
Can't feel too bad for them.

Sunday it felt a little better, but it was quite irritated from me rubbing it.

Well, tell us of your travails....  Are you missing a kidney or two perhaps?  Did Potato girl harvest any other organs/limbs/body parts to sell on the blackmarket?

Lose or Change jobs?

Change your accommodations?

Out with it!!

No, but a barber did, several times.
I went Saturday, and said "about half this length" which was maybe 3.5 inches?
Apparently in Korean that means just shy of a buzz cut.

And I bring with me tales of woe from the future.

As long as you also brought a contemporaneous copy of the Wall Street Journal and a list of Kentucky Derby winners.

I can barely understand 1/2 of what my Korean TKD instructor says and I suspect the misunderstanding is mutual.
