It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Just when I think my capacity for outrage has been exhausted, somebody can draw my attention to something like this.  I stand in awe of the sheer perfidy of this.
"My limited experience does not permit me to appreciate the unquestionable wisdom of your decision"

Seems like every day, I'm forced to add to the list of people who can just kiss my hairy ass.

Wow.  Pretty low.  How stuff like this doesn't become a national embarrassment says a lot about today's media and too many people who have an "ends-justify-the-means" attitude.

I am less than pleased at forcing folks to pay dues or whatnot as a condition of employment. I am not fond of unions, but acknowledge they should be legal. And strictly voluntary.

Which is what the recalls in Wisconsin were about.  Not "Collective Bargaining", but the change that made union membership "Opt-In" rather then "Mandatory".  Union membership has dropped by over 50% since the law took effect.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Didn't one of your acquaintances stick an Uzi in a union thug's face when a pair of said slugs came to threaten him?

Mac-10.

Yep. Dude told stories of union activities, at other companies. So two beefy guys showed up on his doorstep. He escorted them off the property.
