"But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to exist."

I’m not saying I invented the turtleneck. But I was the first person to realize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck! The… tactleneck!

They even have their own Al Gore!

Quote
Pan Shiyi, a celebrity real estate developer, and a deputy to the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, started an online poll Tuesday calling for "Clean Air Act" on Sina Weibo, China's Twitter. Within three hours, more than 25,000 web users responded with 99 percent in favor of his proposal. On the same day, Pan was criticized by citizens for continuing to operate a large construction site in the center of Beijing producing clouds of dust.

Back in the 1980's, the Japanese had vending machines in public places that would dispense fresh air. I assume they've cleaned up their atmosphere by now.

The article said visibility was down to 100 yards in the downtown area.  That is thick pollution.

Really?  Mel Brooks was right?

I said "I HOPE NO ONE HAS MADE A SPACE BALLS JOKE YET!!!"  as the thread loaded,  only to have my dreams shattered by the OP.

Cheers

According to the news, even air traffic was interrupted. It seems that Communists must like profit, and hate the environment, more than Capitalist.  Gives new meaning to the term "Chinese Hackers".
