They WERE running low on ammo, just before they took the prison.

Remember, though, that once they got a toehold, they talked about a number of tasks, including finding the prison armory.

That's where the automatic rifles (Maggie's M4) came from is my guess, along with the ammo to feed them, along with the tear gas, smoke, and flash bang grenades.

If the prison armory wasn't too badly cleaned out, they should be able to hold their own against the Governor.
If you were one of the guards to beat feet from the prison, I imagine you would take what ever you could carry. I doubt there would be much left.
Also anyone want to guess why that prison has a big whole in it that the zombies can still get it?
Also whats even weirder is that the can patrol the loop between the 2 fences, yet somehow the other group climbed in? They claimed the fences to be secure when they took over the prison. Last time I checked the fence usually goes all the way around the pen.

Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

I seem to recall that the armory was pretty depleted, with the flashbangs and some less-lethal munitions being the big haul. Not sure, as I seem to have an increasing fever, and my memory is hazy, and I'm suddenly craving a greasy, rare burger really badly....

They didn't make much use of riot gear, which seems odd given the CQB/hand to hand nature of zombie combat.

Especially after watching the reruns and being reminded they a) used armor effectively in the Atlanta mall, and b) had trouble with the SERT walkers when first entering the prison. Ironically, T-Dog had been wearing some before he, uh, bit it.

I thought that stuff was what they got off the walkers dressed in riot gear, as some of the items were... juicy... and none of them appeared to have had weapons of any kind other than possibly batons.

Oh, man...wow, the Harp Twins.  Need to watch that again.  I'll be in my bunk.

Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.
I meet lots of folks like this, claim to be anarchist but really they're just liberals with pierced genitals. - gunsmith
