Statement of Purpose:    To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

This is just a vote to add an amendment to the Senate budget so I don't have a clue what happens from here, but it's nice to see it pass, even if the vote was closer than it should be.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

Apparently the RINO Senator from Illinois (Mark Kirk) has gotten the message that if he wants to be re-elected, he needs votes from downstate, and if he votes against the 2A, he won't get a single one from anywhere outside of Cook county.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Isn't that usually enough to count as a landslide?
