I'd forgotten how funny this move was...and how many real funny stars were in it. It hits most of the APS favs...guns womens shoes, 9 to 5 job discontent, etc.  A classic.

I had forgotten all about this movie, but remember enjoying it immensely when it came out. Thanks for the reminder, Lee.
John Astin was a complete hoot in whatever he acted in.  Funny guy.
According to IMDB he has a couple of projects due out this year.

If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

The men still sit around campfires and sing about the stubby index finger...

Stubby index finger
Tapping out the code
Stubby index finger
Looking like a toe...
Political tags - such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth - are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Put me in mind of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World."  Same sort of concept.

Another funny, funny movie, with a lot of comedic greats on board.
