I heard a country song on the radio a few months ago that was really wonderfull, and I was reminded of it tonight. The problem is, I do not know the name or the artist.
So help me out if you could.
In the song, the narrator is walking down the street in the winter, and its freezing. He sees a guy laying in the gutter and is afraid he might be dead. He wakes the guy up, and tries to help him, and the guy isnt quite apprecative. The song then goes into the gutter man describing that he was on deaths doorstep and enjoying every minute of it, as he was replaying memories from better times in life, his childhood, etc. Swimming in a river on the farm, drip drying in the sun, etc.
The song touched sensitive ole' me and I want to find out who its by and the title.
Thanks!
